One of my previous projects it had been laying in a friends garage for several years and was no longer ridden so I decided to rescue it. The bike cleaned up great and with a service and thorough carb clean it was once again up and running. It was fun to ride but the leg position was much akin to a sports bike and sadly not really my bag but I loved bringing it back into running road legal condition.
The story had for me a very unhappy ending, a local guy pestered me to sell it to him saying he really liked it especially as it was so original. I eventually decided to sell it to him only to find out very shortly after that he was breaking it and selling the parts to make money and never had any intention of riding it.
