The bike just would not run properly, was very difficult to start and spitting and banging were the main noises it made. I removed the carburettor and manifold stripped and cleaned the carb fitting a new needle valve in the process. New manifold to head seals were purchased along with the carb mounting seal. It took me two attempts to get the manifold to seal correctly to the heads but the difference was amazing.
